The IUS Student Planner was developed to help students stay organized while creating a more engaging and personalized planning experience. After my cover design was selected for publication, faculty invited me to lead the design of the planner from start to finish. I was responsible for designing both the exterior and interior while identifying opportunities to improve the planner's functionality for students. Working within Indiana University Southeast's established visual identity required balancing creativity with brand consistency, resulting in a publication that was both practical and visually engaging.

Beyond the visual design, this project required identifying features that would genuinely support student success. I evaluated common planner formats, organizational tools, materials, and layout systems to determine how the publication could better serve students' day-to-day academic needs. These explorations helped shape both the visual direction and functional structure of the final product.
